As denúncias recebidas são analisadas por técnicos dedicados que lhes dão o devido seguimento. Por devido seguimento refere-se que ao analisar o conteúdo o técnico tenta perceber:

1º - Ilegalidade do conteúdo

2º - Perceber se o conteúdo ilegal se encontra alojado em Portugal ou não.

3º - Se o conteúdo estiver alojado em Portugal a autoridade policial nacional é notificada juntamente com o ISP (Internet Service Provider) Nacional. O técnico da LIS depois irá monotorizar da remoção ou não do conteúdo ilegal.

4º - Se o conteúdo se encontrar noutro país  que não Portugal é dado o seguimento para a congénere internacional, para que sejam notificadas as autoridades e ISPs desse país.

O tratamento de dados será feito de acordo com a POLÍTICA DE PRIVACIDADE E DE PROTECÇÃO DE DADOS PESSOAIS da APAV.

Reports received are analyzed by dedicated technicians who follow them up accordingly. By due follow-up, it is referred that when analyzing the content the technician tries to understand:

1 - Illegality of the content

2nd - Understand if the illegal content is hosted in Portugal or not.

3rd - If the content is hosted in Portugal, the national police authority is notified together with the National ISP (Internet Service Provider). The LIS technician will then monitor whether or not the illegal content has been removed.

4th - If the content is found in a country other than Portugal, the follow-up is given to the international counterpart, so that the authorities and ISPs of that country are notified.
